1. Introduction
Welcome to The Ewings Publishing LLC.
The Ewings Publishing LLC (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates www.theewingspublishing.com (hereinafter referred to as “Service”).

The Ewings Publishing LLC will take all the steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organisation or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

We may disclose personal information that we collect, or you provide:

11. Your Data Protection Rights under the California Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)
CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. The law’s reach stretches well beyond California to require a person or company in the United States (and conceivable the world) that operates websites collecting personally identifiable information from California consumers to post a conspicuous privacy policy on its website stating exactly the information being collected and those individuals with whom it is being shared, and to comply with this policy.
According to CalOPPA we agree to the following:

0.2. our Privacy Policy link includes the word “Privacy”, and can easily be found on the home page of our website;
0.3. users will be notified of any privacy policy changes on our Privacy Policy Page;

Our Policy on “Do Not Track” Signals:
We honor Do Not Track signals and do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track browser mechanism is in place. Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked.

If you make this request, we will delete the personal information we hold about you as of the date of your request from our records and direct any service providers to do the same. 13. Service Providers
We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service (“Service Providers”), provide Service on our behalf, perform Service-related services or assist us in analysing how our Service is used.
These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service.

We may use third-party Service Providers to automate the development process of our Service.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

This Privacy Policy describes the types of information TEPL may collect from you, how TEPL uses the information, with whom TEPL may share it, and the choices available to you regarding TEPL’s use of the information. This Privacy Policy also describes the measures TEPL takes to protect the security of the information and how users of this website and TEPL’s customers can contact TEPL about its privacy practices. Do Not Track Notice or Signals

Public Forums
This Privacy Policy does not apply to any information that you choose to post, submit or share in public forums, such as reviews, comments, critiques, editorials, testimonials, or blog discussions. Information or other content that you choose to make available in a public forum may be viewed, collected and used by others. TEPL encourages you to use caution when posting personal information in a public forum.
How TEPL Uses Your Information
TEPL uses Personal Information that you provide to TEPL and Usage Information that TEPL collects through automated means to:
– Perform services, including maintaining or servicing accounts, providing customer service, processing or fulfilling orders and transactions, verifying customer information, processing payments, making royalty payments, if applicable, providing advertising or marketing services, providing analytics services, or providing similar services;
– Send communications and contact you about TEPL’s assisted self-publishing services and related products and services, including promotional materials and other information about the assisted self-publishing services of TEPL’s various imprints;

– Detect, investigate, and prevent activities that may violate TEPL’s policies; and
– Use the information in other ways that TEPL describes when you provide the information, or for any other purpose with your express consent.
Information TEPL Shares
TEPL does not rent, sell or otherwise disclose Personal Information that it collects about you, individually or as part of a list, except as described below. TEPL may share your Personal Information with:
– TEPL’s contractors, service providers and other third parties that TEPL uses to support its business and to fulfill services requested or purchased by you, including, but not limited to, credit card processing companies, marketing services providers and consultants, public relations firms, editorial service providers, printers, distributors, and retailers;

Your Rights and Choices
TEPL strives to provide you with choices regarding the Personal Information you provide to it. TEPL has created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:
– Google Analytics Display Advertising. TEPL utilizes Google Analytics Display Advertising to remarket to you by displaying TEPL’s ads to you on third party websites. You can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize Google Display Network ads by clicking Ads Settings.
– Reviewing, Updating and Modifying Personal Information. Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to and receive details about you and update and correct inaccuracies in your Personal Information. However, please note that only you can change or delete tax information, including your TIN, previously provided to TEPL, through your Author Center on the The Ewings Publishing website. TEPL may not accommodate a request to change information if it believes the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.
– Do Not Call. If you do not want to receive marketing or sales calls from TEPL, you may request to have your name placed on TEPL’s Do Not Call List. TEPL will process your request and remove your name from its active list within ten (10) business days. You can make this request by sending an email to: donotcall@The Ewings Publishing.com or via mail addressed to: The Ewings Publishing, Attn: Do Not Call List, 201 Rue Bureaugard Ste 202, Lafayette LA 70508. When submitting a request, you must include all the relevant information that you want added to TEPL’s Do Not Call List, including your full name, street address and telephone number(s). Subsequent sign-ups or inquiries to TEPL may lead to the creation of new records; these actions by you may result in inadvertent contact. If that is the case, please contact TEPL to reiterate the Do Not Call requests. If your information changes, please notify TEPL of your new name, address, and telephone number(s) so that you will remain on the Do Not Call List.
Children under the Age of 13
The Sites are not directed to and should not be used by children under the age of thirteen (13). TEPL does not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of thirteen (13) on the Sites.
Data Security
TEPL takes commercially reasonable steps to help protect and secure your Personal Information from accidental loss and unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. Returns or Replacement
Printer glitches cannot be avoided. In rare cases, the approved metadata files are not being followed, resulting in misprinting.
To be eligible for a return/replacement, your item must be proven defective of misprinting (for book orders). An investigation will be launched and we will only require you take clear photos of the parts of the book that are being misprinted.
You have 3 calendar days to request for a replacement from the date you received it. If this is approved, a replacement is eligible.

PRINTING:
Once the order is received, book copies will be printed at the nearest printing facility.
Normal printing duration is 10 business days in the US and 5 business days to all other locations.

Orders received on weekends will be processed on the next business day.
SHIPPING:
Shipping fees, handling fees, and taxes are shouldered by the buyer.
Book orders are guaranteed to be shipped on the next business day.

Canada – import duties, GST (goods and services taxes), brokerage fees, customs fees, and document preparation fees.
Australia – 10% GST charge for printing and a 10% GST charge for shipping.

– Delivery to most commercial addresses in the 48 contiguous states in the US takes 1 to 6 business days after the shipment date, based on the location of the Ship-To Address.

– Delivery to most countries and territories is shipped through the destination country’s mail system.
